An eye on the skin-wall

Some minor editing was done to this photograph for an even more surreal look.
Quite creepy this time, isn't it? One day I looked into the mirror and saw that one of my eyes had some really harsh blood vessels showing. It looked pretty sick so I got curious and took a photo for a closer look. The result looks pretty much like the eye wasn't actually on a face but rather on a taut "wall" of skin. That's why I named it like that. And I completely understand if you tell me that this looks repulsive to you Turns out not all art is meant to look beautiful.

Anyone who wants to use this picture in their works for the texture or the eye itsself is welcome to do so if proper credit is given and I get a link of the result.
